Manager, Finance  

 

Business : Critical Flow Solutions 

Department : Finance 

Location : Sandy, Utah or Channelview, TX 

Reports To : Vice President, Finance 

 

POSITION DETAILS  

Position Summary:  

You are an experienced Finance professional with the skills and ability to help a dynamic company plan and execute its growth strategies. You will be an individual contributor managing processes and a variety of financial functions and responsibilities. You will drive the process to improve our Financial Planning & Analysis, lead all related financial responsibilities of a newly created Product Line P&L, and analyze potential M&A targets for fit and financial impact to our existing business.

 

Principal Activities :  

You Will:  

FP&A Function  

  • Partner with the Controller and team to build out the analytical capabilities in Adaptive Planning system and build out other reporting and analysis tools, as needed 
  • Assist with development of enhanced metrics and analysis such as ROIC, Fixed/Variable cost analysis, volume/price/mix/productivity analysis, etc. 
  • Maintain the equity ownership “Cap table” and perform other equity analysis, as required 
  • Coordinate enhanced reporting decks required by our parent company 

New Product Line Finance Lead  

  • Perform market size analysis on our existing Isolation Valve (ISV) technology, applying it to potential new products and markets
  • Build Proforma financials and perform budgeting/forecasting and variance analysis for the product line 
  • Act as financial advisor the product leadership 

M&A/Growth  

  • Evaluate the market potential of other (non-ISV) new product concepts 
  • Evaluate acquisition target financials 
  • Analyze synergy and accretion/dilution impact 
  • Partner with the Controller on acquisition target due diligence 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Candidate Requirements:  

Knowledge Skills & Abilities  

You Have:  

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis 
  • Ability to work with minimal direction 
  • Adaptability with ability to multi-task, balance priorities, and work to deadlines 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills 
  • Excellent proficiency with MS tools and with very advanced capability in Excel 
  • Ability to achieve results through collaboration with a virtual team 
  • Desire to help the business succeed and grow 

 

Education & Experience  

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance or similar field. MBA/CPA highly preferred 
  • 10 plus years of progressive professional experience in finance roles with an emphasis on financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting 
  • Proven familiarity with financial consolidation/reporting/budgeting software systems 
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar systems is highly desirable 
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in target evaluation, deal analysis, and due diligence 
  • Division or Product Line P&L responsibility, a plus
