Job Description:
New York Water Tours is seeking an energetic and experienced DJ to bring the party to life aboard our scenic boat tours departing from Pier 40 in NYC. As the onboard DJ, you’ll set the mood with music that matches the vibe of the cruise—whether it's a lively sunset party or a chill city skyline tour.
Responsibilities:
Curate and play music tailored to the event and guest preferences
Read the crowd and adjust playlists to maintain an engaging atmosphere
Operate sound equipment and ensure smooth audio transitions
Collaborate with crew and event staff for seamless guest experiences
Represent the New York Water Tours brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Requirements:
Prior DJ experience with a strong musical library and mixing skills
Familiarity with sound equipment setup and troubleshooting
Outgoing personality and comfort engaging with diverse crowds
Punctuality and reliability for scheduled sailings
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
