Location: Oak Brook, IL (Hybrid)

Industry: Transportation, Logistics

Pay: $45-60/hr

Job Description:

As an HRIS Analyst, you will support the organization’s HR technology by ensuring the Workday system functions optimally across multiple HR modules. You'll lead consultations, handle system enhancements, and provide troubleshooting support. This position offers the chance to work with a range of HRIS technologies, particularly Workday, and contribute to both system improvements and end-user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Consultation & Requirements Gathering: Lead sessions with stakeholders to gather business requirements for system enhancements, new features, or troubleshooting. Document requirements, solutions, and testing plans to ensure quality execution.
  • Solution Identification & Implementation: Identify solutions to meet HR business needs, focusing primarily on Workday and other HRIS technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), background check vendor platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Support HRIS Systems & Data Integrity: Assist HR and subject matter experts in maintaining data integrity through training, user support, documentation, and process audits. Ensure consistency and accuracy across various HR systems.
  • User Enablement & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, helping them understand system functionalities and resolving any issues. Develop user guides and conduct audits to ensure efficient system use.
  • Generalized Support for Shared Services: Address user tickets related to Workday and other HRIS technologies, including troubleshooting system issues and resolving HR-related queries.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Workday HRIS, particularly within HR functionalities like Recruiting, Time, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, and 401K integrations.
  • Experience with additional HRIS technologies (e.g., LMS, governmental reporting platforms, background check systems) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement technology solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to create clear requirements, test scripts, and user guides.
  • Ability to support end-users, manage system issues, and ensure a seamless HRIS experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar HRIS Analyst role or supporting HR technology platforms is preferred.
