They are looking for a Tax Manager who will oversee tax planning and compliance for a diverse client base while leading a team of professionals and managing key client relationships. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Tax Manager’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and identify opportunities for savings
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships through exceptional service

Tax Manager’s Qualifications and Skills

• CPA license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Taxation or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and multi-state tax filings
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in tax and accounting software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax, QuickBooks) and Excel
