The SEO Analyst will play a vital role in driving organic growth for Disney Store, The Walt Disney Company's e-commerce website and app. You will be responsible for optimizing our online content and technical SEO elements to maximize traffic, revenue, and visibility within search engines. This position requires a strong understanding of both content and technical SEO principles, along with a passion for creating engaging and informative experiences for our customers.

As part of the Customer Engagement Search Activation team, you'll collaborate with web development, paid media, marketing strategy, public relations, analytics, and social media teams to create a unified and impactful search strategy. This is a fast-paced, e-commerce-focused environment where innovation and collaboration are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical SEO Oversight: Monitor website performance, identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues (site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability), and collaborate with web development teams to implement necessary fixes and improvements. Understanding of Google Core Web Vitals and their impact on ranking is a plus.
  • Generative AI & Search Evolution: Stay informed about the latest trends in Generative AI and its impact on search, particularly in areas like AI Overviews and Google Shopping. Develop strategies to optimize content and website structure for enhanced visibility within these emerging search formats.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics (organic traffic, keyword rankings, revenue, conversion rates) to measure the effectiveness of SEO initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, web development, site merchandising) to align SEO efforts with overall business objectives and communicate SEO insights effectively.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time.
  • Stay Current: Continuously learn and adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of SEO, including algorithm updates, new search technologies, and emerging best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of prior experience in an SEO role.
  • Proven experience in SEO with a strong focus on content optimization.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO principles (site architecture, crawlability, indexability, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Generative AI and its impact on search, including strategies for optimizing for AI Overviews and Google Shopping is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
