Assist in planning and executing public relations campaigns that promote nonprofit initiatives and community awareness
Represent the organization at community events, outreach programs, and media engagements
Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, community leaders, and partner organizations
Help create engaging press releases, social media posts, newsletters , and public-facing content
Coordinate event logistics to support public participation and media coverage
Monitor and report on media coverage, public sentiment, and campaign outcomes
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for community service, social advocacy, and public engagement
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Relevant coursework or experience in public relations, communications, journalism, or nonprofit work is a plus—but not required
