Position Title: Program Manager, Generative AI

As a Program Manager delivering projects within the Data & AI (DnAI) and End-to-End Money Movement (E2EMM)Portfolio, you will lead the  Generative AI and Advice AI Program, working with other Project Managers, Agile Delivery Leads and Project Coordinators to successfully deliver the projects within it, by providing expertise throughout all phases of the  Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).  You are an energetic and motivated individual who is highly organized with polished communication skills, and has a proven ability to establish and manage competing priorities, deliver complex projects, and align stakeholders to achieve and measure business outcomes.

ATB has a strategic objective to explore, develop and implement  cutting edge Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies , driving innovation and unlocking new possibilities while transforming the client and team member experience. This year, a key project is the  implementation of a Virtual Agent solution that will enhance the experience we deliver for clients who prefer to  bank digitally . Our goal is to improve the client experience, and augment our team member capacity for those team members who serve our clients directly. This project will include the replacement and decommissioning of an existing tool.

Within the  GenAI and AI program , we have prioritized a number of projects to mature our  generative AI capability and improve our team member productivity and capacity.
To revolutionize  ATB ’s internal knowledge landscape, leveraging GenAI, agentic products, and other automation tools to unlock unprecedented efficiencies, foster innovation, and enhance decision-making across all levels of our organization.
To empower team members from front-line client advisors to critical support units, with intelligent, real-time recommendations. This will optimize every interaction and decision,  driving superior client service and operational excellence across our bank . This initiative will undertake the delivery of a series of prioritized use cases across to organization and solve them leveraging multiple AI and automation tools.
You will manage multiple streams of work across the program, through our AI innovation framework, leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies in our hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to confirm the problems to be solved, expected outcomes and project deliverables.
Identify and confirm project approach and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop detailed resource estimates and effective plans to manage the initiative.

Assign deliverables, tasks and activities and continuously monitor and control all associated resources, schedules and plans.
Report on status, risk management, budget/cost, success criteria and reporting as required
Anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
Ensure optimal communications within and across teams and with all project stakeholders.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure a strong and positive stakeholder relationship.
Provide positive team leadership and motivate those teams directly and indirectly involved.
Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects
Ensure team members are effectively onboarded onto projects
Support planning, preparing, and conducting of project delivery ceremonies
Report key metrics to senior stakeholders

Relevant Experience
10+ years of experience in IT project and program management
3+ years leading cross-functional project teams through the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives
Previous experience leading Generative AI, Agentic AI, and innovative solutions is required
Project Delivery experience in Data or Financial realms is an asset
Proven experience delivering projects with teams that include internal team members, and Vendors.
Understanding how to navigate both Agile and Waterfall processes through the delivery cycle, and manage multiple streams of work is key.
Proven leadership experience in managing cross functional teams and mentoring junior team members
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
