Job Description

  • Create and update tickets using Remedy.

  • Monitor network events and failures in real-time 24x7x365.

  • Analyze and resolve alarms, identify faults, and coordinate corrections.

  • Support fault isolation and troubleshooting for network elements.

  • Correct and replace faulty network elements and verify service restoration.

  • Restore networks and services to full operation, coordinating with other providers as needed.

  • Provide updates on outages and maintain situational awareness.

  • Record and track incident tickets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 1-3 years of experience.

  • DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).

  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.

  • Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, or performance management.

  • Expertise in routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.

  • Understanding of network topologies (transport and IP).

  • Active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance.

  • 100% Onsite in Scott AFB, IL
