Monitor network events and failures in real-time 24x7x365.
Analyze and resolve alarms, identify faults, and coordinate corrections.
Support fault isolation and troubleshooting for network elements.
Correct and replace faulty network elements and verify service restoration.
Restore networks and services to full operation, coordinating with other providers as needed.
Provide updates on outages and maintain situational awareness.
Record and track incident tickets.
High school diploma and 1-3 years of experience.
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).
Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, or performance management.
Expertise in routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.
Understanding of network topologies (transport and IP).
Active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance.
