In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in payroll operations, with a focus on compiling and submitting union reports, certified payroll reports, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation or process improvement. Compile and submit accurate union reports in compliance with deadlines and union agreements. 3. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for union-related payroll activities. 4. **Certified Payroll Reporting:** 5. Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in accordance with applicable regulations and project requirements. 6. Verify compliance with prevailing wage laws and other relevant standards. 7. **Process Improvement and Automation:** 8. Analyze existing payroll reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. 9. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement automated solutions to streamline report submissions. 10. Research and recommend tools, software, or systems to enhance payroll reporting workflows. 11. **Data Accuracy and Compliance:** 12. Ensure all payroll data is accurate, complete, and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. 13. Address discrepancies or errors in payroll reports promptly and professionally. 14. **Collaboration and Communication:** 15. Work closely with the payroll team and other departments to gather necessary information for reports. 16. Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including unions and project representatives, as needed. 17. **Learning and Development:** 18.
