We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Specialist to join a growing organization in San Marcos, CA. The HR Specialist will focus on supporting general HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and enhancing employee engagement. Whether you're managing benefits, assisting with recruiting, or helping with employee development programs, you'll be a key part of this HR team!
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist in managing HR processes including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and onboarding.
+ Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
+ Ensure legal compliance by monitoring regulations related to employment practices and implementing necessary updates.
+ Provide administrative support during audits, training efforts, and employee transitions.
+ Serve as a resource for employees by addressing HR-related inquiries and concerns.
+ Support HR projects such as employee engagement activities, policy updates, and recognition programs.
Requirements
+ 2+ years of experience in HR or related field preferred.
+ Strong understanding of California labor laws and HR best practices.
+ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar HRIS software is a plus.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
+ A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred but not required.
