Our client is seeking a poised, experienced, and hands-on House Manager to oversee the primary residence in Coconut Grove, FL. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a refined professional with a hospitality mindset and experience in managing a fine home for a private principal. The right candidate will possess a strong sense of duty, be highly proactive, and have a willingness to roll up their sleeves to ensure the smooth operation of the household. Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the household, anticipating the principal's needs and preferences. Lead by example, fostering a strong team culture and maintaining a high standard of service. Supervise and coordinate the Housekeeping team and work seamlessly with other household staff. Report directly to the Estate Manager and Director of Residences. Assist with guest services, daily graces, and hospitality tasks. Manage household inventories, purchase necessary supplies, and maintain organization. Review and approve household expenses and vendor invoices. Schedule and oversee vendors, maintenance, services, and interior improvement projects. Plan, host, and execute social events, handling all logistics and details. As needed, elevate the skills of the Housekeeping team, including care for museum-quality furnishings, artwork, antiques, and other fine collectibles. Qualifications Prior experience managing a team in a large private residence, with a proven ability to run a household with professionalism and grace. Poised, polished, and capable of maintaining high standards of service. Ability to understand and manage smart home technology and complex residential systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfortable with technology, including email, household management software, and more. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Excellent verifiable references. Schedule This is a full-time, year-round position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, daytime hours. The House Manager must have flexibility to work additional hours, including weekends, as needed, and be ready to respond to urgent requests. Compensation The client is offering an annual base compensation of $160,000 to $200,000commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), PTO, sick days, and 10 paid holidays.
