Job Overview:

As a caregiver, you will be responsible for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents. You will play a vital role in creating a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to residents in their homes or residential facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and manage behaviors to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
• Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors or care plans.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing home care services.
• Ability to provide direct support and assistance to individuals with varying needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• First aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by state regulations.
